Dan Tindall: Reviews

Blue Skye is pure folk. with just one guy, one guitar and that cool harmonica.....foot tapping and easy listening like sitting around the campfire, or in a cafe somewhere down the road

Give me that smoke, mmm thanks...now lets listen to what the man has got to say, where is he taking us, and what his suggestions are.....gritty, plunking on the root, and giving us that ole bluesin harp.....listen up and you'll.get the picture, nice change up in the middle of the song....groovy
- Blues Music Is Truth (Aug 11, 2009)
An outstanding collection of songs in which the folks underground appear with frequency - often as they are being abused by a ruling class that appears more stupid and clueless than evil. The fun here is in listening to Dan skewer the leaders and pols with wit, humor and indignation. Not all the songs are overtly political but they all fit the theme. I bought this CD awhile back and listen to it often. Highly recommended!

And, if I might say so, while I was listening to Dan Tindall's latest CD (my most recent purchase from CDBaby), Inside Outside, I was again struck by what a phenomenal lyricist Dan is. His lyrics are sometimes wry, sometimes sardonic, sometimes simply elegant, and they are always spot on. We include a selection from the CD in today's show, so give a careful listen...Dan's songwriting is way too good to be wasted as background music.
I love that brilliant acoustic guitar sound. Dan plays a fabulous slide guitar and sings with an awesome individual style. This CD is highly recommend to listen . Erik
